Last Day Scoffers

The Days In Which We Live
Anyone that grew up in the 50's and 60's can identify just how far off the rails we are in today's society. Those raised in this generation just think it is the norm, as they have known nothing else.
When I went to school, we opened each day with the LORD's Prayer and sang God Save The Queen. We also had Bible stories as part of the regular curriculum. In other words, while we were neither Quakers or Saints, we did give God a place in our lives.
Christmas was about the baby Jesus and Easter was not about bunnies and chocolate eggs, it was about the death of God's only Son.
Today, we have explained Him out of our lives by believing the foolishness parading as science ..... Darwin for example.
It is no mystery to those of us who have seen the transition and removal of God from our society as to why we find ourselves in the mess we are in today.
What we are experiencing was foretold nearly 2000 years ago in the Bible:
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 2Timothy 3:1-4 KJV
